N80 - Possibly one of the worst UI’s about…

The Nokia N80 has an unbelievably bad UI.

One, it is so painfully slow that you sometimes think it has just hung.

And two, it sometimes does just hang - which leaves you thinking it’s even slower than it actually is (which is pretty damn slow).

And three - it uses odd terms to describe elements. E.g. I wanted to add an item to the top menu. However, looking for “menu” in the 118 page manual does not cover it. I finally tracked it down via a Google search to “Active standby mode - Standby Display” - what on earth does that mean?!

So to add an item or customise it you have to go to  Tools> Settings > Phone> Standby mode > Active standby

… groan!
